Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny, born February 3, 1950) is an American actress from America. She became famous in the 70s and 80s for her roles as a TV actress shows. Her glamorous appearance was the most prominent feature of these series. Fairchild began her career in her role on the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. As the first actress portraying Jenna Wade, she made her TV debut on CBS's daytime soap opera Dallas in 1978. Later she landed a leading role for The NBC drama Flamingo Road (1980), which won her the Golden Globe Award as Best Actress in a Television Series - for that show. In 1984, she was a co-star on ABC's short-lived primetime soap Paper Dolls. From 1985 through 1986, she played the role of attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild was actively involved in theatre as well as in guest roles for television series such Roseanne, Cybill and Friends as well as Murphy Brown. For the former, she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. She sits as a member of the board of SAG-AFTRA.
