Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a rare pop phenomenon: A star who strayed completely from country music to pop culture, turning into the pop icon of the future that will endure forever, and sweeping over every corner of the globe. Swift let go of the influences from her country music like they were an extra layer of skin and revealed she was among the most talented singers/songwriters in her time. Swift could make the event personal and use it for her benefit. The skills she displayed were apparent on her early hits including the neo-tribute Tim McGraw but her second album 2008's Fearless featured a singer-songwriter figuring out the person she really was, and, in doing so, gaining a mass audience. The album ended up with a lot of reach not just on the U.S. where it racked seven platinum singles due to the Top Ten hits Love Story and the hit single You Belong with Me but throughout the globe, performing especially well with the U.K. Canada and Australia. Speak Now delivered almost two years later, which consolidated the success and moved Swift to the heights of stardom. Over the next three years, her fame was growing with the release of three albums -three times - Red (2012), Reputation (2014), and 1989 (2014-2015) in 2014-2015 as she entered a new arena of pop in which her talent was already well-established. She stayed on top of the charts even after she changed her style with her sibling albums Folklore and Evermore in the year 2020.
